Housekeeping Supervisor

About the role

Erbil International Hotel is hiring an experienced and responsible Housekeeping Supervisor for its Housekeeping Department at its five-star property in Erbil. The supervisor oversees daily housekeeping operations, ensures rooms and public areas meet cleanliness and quality standards, and supports the team through training and guest service.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily housekeeping operations and assign tasks to Housekeeping Attendants.
• Ensure guest rooms and public areas meet the hotel's cleanliness and quality standards.
• Conduct guest room inspections in line with Leading Quality Assurance (LQA) standards.
• Handle guest requests and complaints professionally, with timely follow-up.
• Monitor room status (VIP, DND, etc.) and coordinate updates with the Front Office Department.
• Report maintenance issues, damaged items and lost and found items according to hotel procedures.
• Monitor housekeeping supplies and keep adequate stock levels.
• Evaluate staff performance and give guidance and feedback when needed.
• Train and mentor Housekeeping Attendants on Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and service standards.

Required profile

• Previous experience in housekeeping, preferably in a supervisory position within a luxury or five-star hotel.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage daily operational responsibilities effectively.
