Electrical Superintendent

About the role

The Electrical Superintendent will lead the design, installation, inspection and verification of electrical systems for projects in Iraq, ensuring compliance with all applicable codes, standards and client requirements. Reporting to the Senior DPW Manager, the role combines technical expertise in electrical standards, CAD and schematics with rigorous counterfeit parts inspection and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical systems according to specifications, focusing on safety, reliability and cost‑effectiveness.
• Prepare, modify and review drawings, specifications, calculations, charts and graphs.
• Conduct counterfeit review and inspection of electronic parts, components and assemblies.
• Research and validate electrical certifications to meet ARCENT requirements.
• Inspect, analyze and assess suspected counterfeit material and generate inspection packets.
• Ensure compliance with contractual, US Government, DoD, U.S. Army, local safety regulations, codes and Vectrus safety procedures.
• Review submittals, technical drawings and specifications for conformity with codes and customer requirements.
• Perform receiving inspections, record test results and issue acceptance or rejection decisions.
• Generate reports, non‑conformance reports and maintain inspection documentation.

Required profile

• Thorough knowledge of electrical standards and codes.
• Experience with CAD and electrical schematics.
• Familiarity with ARCENT electrical certification and DoD/US Army requirements.
• Ability to conduct detailed counterfeit parts inspections.
• Strong understanding of safety procedures and regulatory compliance.
