Deputy Area Sales Manager

About the role

Zoomlion is seeking a Deputy Area Sales Manager for its Baghdad operations. The role supports the Regional Sales Manager in driving sales growth, developing the market and managing key customer relationships across construction and heavy‑machinery sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Regional Sales Manager in achieving sales targets and business objectives for the Baghdad region.
• Develop and implement sales strategies to increase market share and generate new business opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, dealers, contractors and other partners.
• Manage the sales pipeline, follow up on leads, quotations and opportunities, and prepare forecasts and market reports.
• Conduct market research, competitor analysis and customer visits, including product presentations and negotiations.
• Coordinate with internal technical teams to deliver suitable product solutions and ensure high customer satisfaction.

Required profile

• Iraqi nationality.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, marketing, business administration or a related field.
• 5–7 years of sales experience in construction, heavy machinery or engineering equipment, preferably in a senior or supervisory role.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and developing new business in the Baghdad market.
• Strong leadership, communication, negotiation and customer‑relationship management abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in English.
• Experience using CRM software.
