Deputy Sales Manager – Construction Machinery

About the role

Zoomlion Middle East is seeking a Deputy Sales Manager for construction machinery to support its growing presence in Baghdad and surrounding areas. The role focuses on driving sales, building client relationships, and contributing to the region’s infrastructure boom.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Area Sales Manager in achieving sales targets for Baghdad and nearby territories.
• Build and maintain relationships with contractors, dealers, government bodies and key project owners.
• Identify new projects and tenders, turning leads into closed deals.
• Prepare quotations, negotiate terms and follow deals through to delivery and payment.
• Track competitor activity and market trends, reporting insights to management.
• Collaborate with service and parts teams to ensure customer satisfaction.

Required profile

• 3+ years of sales experience in construction equipment, heavy machinery, trucks or related industrial sales.
• Strong network in the Iraqi contracting or equipment market (advantage).
• Fluent Arabic and good English.
• Proven record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Baghdad and travel to project sites.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business or a related field.
