About the role
The Country Head – Technology Business will lead all technology business operations in Iraq, driving strategic growth, sales performance, channel expansion and profitability. You will be responsible for market development, strengthening partner and customer relationships, and aligning local activities with the Group’s regional objectives and vendor channel strategy.
Key responsibilities
- Define and execute the country’s technology business strategy to increase market share and sustainable growth.
- Oversee business planning, sales execution, and operational management across enterprise, retail and channel segments.
- Develop and expand distribution channels, manage partner ecosystems and ensure strong customer engagement.
- Lead cross‑functional, multicultural teams to deliver on revenue, profitability and market expansion targets.
- Align local initiatives with the Group’s regional business objectives and vendor strategies.
Required profile
- 12‑18 years of experience in business management, sales leadership or channel distribution within technology, consumer electronics or distribution.
- 5‑7 years of proven leadership managing large teams and country‑level operations.
- Track record of driving revenue growth, profitability and market expansion.
- Deep understanding of distribution business models, channel ecosystems and partner management.
- Experience with premium technology brands or connected‑device ecosystems is highly preferred.
- Strong strategic planning, business development and commercial management capabilities.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical, operational and decision‑making abilities.
- Knowledge of Iraq market dynamics and regional business environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Marketing or related field; MBA preferred.
