Community Development & Service Delivery Department Manager

About the role

SEED is seeking an experienced manager to lead its Community Development and Service Delivery Department in Erbil, Kurdistan Region of Iraq. The role involves overseeing program implementation, coordinating with field teams, and ensuring high‑quality services reach vulnerable communities across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction and day‑to‑day management of the department’s activities.
• Design, monitor, and evaluate community development projects and service delivery initiatives.
• Coordinate regular travel to project sites throughout KRI and maintain strong relationships with local partners.
• Manage budgets, reporting, and compliance with donor requirements.
• Lead a multidisciplinary team, fostering a collaborative and results‑oriented environment.

Required profile

• Proven experience in managing community development or humanitarian programmes.
• Strong understanding of protection, gender equality, child protection, and human trafficking issues.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
• Ability to work in a multicultural, women‑led NGO setting.
