Channel Sales Manager

About the role

The Channel Sales Manager is responsible for shaping and executing the sales strategy for a specific product line, driving partner recruitment, and expanding market share through targeted initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement the channel strategy and roadmap in line with company objectives.
• Lead partner relationships and align them with the overall business strategy.
• Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing channel partners to grow sales in the assigned territory.
• Build and maintain a robust channel/customer database, analyse data and identify new opportunities.
• Conduct market research and specify requirements for current and future services/products.
• Manage the full sales cycle from quotation to collection, including credit tracking and payment performance.
• Generate long‑term revenue and profitability for the entire product line.
• Provide high‑level support to channel partners and address queries promptly.
• Prepare accurate sales forecasts and market development reports.
• Promote the company’s services/products within the region and oversee targeted marketing programs.
• Utilise Salesforce.com CRM for lead, opportunity and deal registration management to improve efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Sales and Marketing or a related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in a similar channel or partner sales role.
