Sales Specialist (Solar)

About the role

The Sales Specialist (Solar) is a full‑time, on‑site position based in Erbil. You will promote and sell solar energy solutions to residential, commercial and industrial customers, guiding them through the entire sales cycle from inquiry to contract signing.

Key responsibilities

• Identify prospects, conduct site visits and prepare tailored proposals.
• Deliver product presentations, explain technical and financial benefits, and close deals.
• Maintain strong customer relationships, respond to inquiries and coordinate with technical teams for system design and installation scheduling.
• Track sales performance against targets and report on pipeline and revenue forecasts.
• Stay informed about solar market trends, participate in trainings and represent Tornet at events to support business growth.

Required profile

• Strong communication and customer‑service skills with the ability to understand client needs.
• Proven sales abilities, including lead generation, negotiation and closing in a target‑driven environment.
• Experience training or coaching customers and colleagues on solar products and system benefits.
• Background in sales management or coordination, capable of managing pipelines and forecasting revenue.
• Basic understanding of solar energy systems and willingness to learn technical concepts.
• Ability to work on‑site in Erbil, travel locally for client meetings and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
• Organizational and time‑management skills to handle multiple opportunities consistently.
• Relevant diploma or degree in Business, Engineering or related field; prior experience in solar or energy sectors is an advantage.
