Sales Agent – Ceramic & Porcelain Tiles

About the role

This full‑time, on‑site position in Erbil focuses on promoting and selling ceramic and porcelain tiles to local importers, distributors, architects and developers. The Sales Agent will act as the primary point of contact, presenting product catalogs, samples and detailed specifications while ensuring smooth order processing.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and engage potential customers such as importers, distributors, architects and developers.
• Present product catalogs, samples and provide detailed information on tile specifications, pricing and delivery terms.
• Manage client relationships, respond to inquiries and quotation requests, and prepare and follow up on proposals.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely order processing, shipment and export‑grade packing.
• Monitor market trends, visit client sites and participate in industry events.
• Provide feedback to support product development and marketing strategies.

Required profile

• Strong communication and customer‑service skills to build long‑term B2B relationships.
• Proven sales experience in building materials, tiles or related sectors with a track record of meeting targets.
• Ability to train and coach clients on product features and installation considerations.
• Basic understanding of insurance or trade‑related documentation is an advantage.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Erbil, conduct regular client visits and travel locally as required.
• Proficiency in English; knowledge of regional languages is a plus.
• Strong organizational, negotiation and follow‑up abilities.
• Minimum high school diploma; a bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or a related field is preferred.
