Carpenter – Hotel Maintenance

About the role

We are looking for a passionate and dynamic Carpenter to join our hotel maintenance team. You will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing wood, plywood, and wallboard structures while delivering exceptional customer service to our guests.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance and repair works as required.
• Perform day‑to‑day maintenance within the hotel building for carpentry‑related issues.
• Fix shelving, cabinet construction, door locks, security items, windows, and glazing.
• Handle partition woodworking and general building tasks.
• Remove damaged or defective parts and repair or replace them using hand tools.
• Finish woodwork or wallboard surfaces with paint, paneling, and hand tools.
• Fill cracks and defects in plaster or plasterboard, then sand and patch.
• Ensure all work complies with local technical regulations and safety standards.

Required profile

• Skilled carpenter with a high school qualification.
• Good knowledge of carpentry, building maintenance, workplace safety, and safe lifting procedures.
• Strong command of English and ability to identify and rectify faults.
• Self‑motivated, hands‑on, flexible and able to adapt to unpredictable events.
• Pro‑active, reliable, calm under pressure, and detail‑oriented.
