Sales Engineer – Electrical & Mechanical

About the role

RAK Industrial Electrical & Lighting is seeking a proactive Sales Engineer to promote its electrical panels, kiosks, lighting poles, and cable management solutions across Iraq. The role combines technical knowledge with customer‑facing activities to drive sales and support project implementation.

Key responsibilities

• Respond promptly to customer calls, WhatsApp messages, and emails.
• Follow up with existing and potential customers to nurture leads.
• Meet clients, understand project requirements, and propose suitable solutions.
• Prepare accurate technical and commercial quotations.
• Present RAK products and solutions to customers.
• Coordinate closely with engineering and production teams.
• Visit customer sites and project locations when required.
• Build and maintain long‑term customer relationships.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• Strong communication, negotiation and customer‑service abilities.
• Sales or customer‑facing experience preferred.
• Knowledge of electrical systems and products is an advantage.
• Fluent in Kurdish, Arabic and English.
• Good Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Based in Sulaymaniyah or willing to relocate.
• Driving licence and personal car are a plus.
