Head of Credit and Operations

About the role

The Head of Credit & Operations will lead credit management, operational controls, supply‑chain coordination and financial risk functions for the Iraq business. This senior position ensures efficient execution, healthy receivables, optimized working capital and sustainable growth while complying with company policies and regional regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead credit risk management, collections and receivables control across the Iraq market.
• Oversee operational controls and supply‑chain processes to support technology distribution.
• Maintain and improve working capital and cash‑flow performance.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and local regulatory requirements.
• Manage large customer portfolios and operational teams in an emerging‑market environment.
• Collaborate with commercial, finance and logistics stakeholders to drive business objectives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Supply Chain or a related field.
• 10‑15 years of experience in credit, finance and operations management.
• Minimum 5 years in a leadership role within distribution, technology, FMCG or similar industries.
• Proven ability to lead multicultural teams in fast‑paced environments.
• High integrity, accountability and strong problem‑solving capability.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Office applications.
