Development Manager – Renewable Energy

About the role

Kol Al-Manafith is seeking a Development Manager to drive growth of its renewable energy and power‑solutions business in Iraq. The role combines strategic planning with hands‑on execution to expand market reach, improve sales performance and strengthen client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and implement strategic development plans for the company.
• Analyze current operations and propose solutions to improve performance and efficiency.
• Develop internal policies and procedures and monitor their implementation.
• Identify opportunities for growth, expansion and new business development.
• Follow up on development projects to ensure timely delivery.
• Prepare reports, studies and recommendations related to organisational performance.
• Coordinate with different departments to identify development needs and achieve shared objectives.
• Monitor key performance indicators and propose initiatives to improve results.

Required profile

• Previous experience in sales management, business development or a related role.
• Strong leadership, communication and negotiation abilities.
• Proven capability to build plans, set targets and track performance.
• Good understanding of market development, client relations and sales growth.
• Ability to analyse sales data and produce clear reports.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to manage priorities.
• Fluency in Arabic; working knowledge of English is a plus.
• Experience in the energy, engineering or renewable‑energy sector is preferred.
