Accountant – Financial Reporting & Compliance

About the role

The Accountant will manage the company’s financial records, support regular reporting cycles, and ensure accuracy across the general ledger, reconciliations, and closing activities. This position is essential for maintaining regulatory compliance, assisting audits, and driving efficient financial processes throughout the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and ensure timely, accurate reporting.
• Maintain the general ledger, perform regular account reconciliations, and support month‑end and year‑end closing activities.
• Reconcile bank statements, resolve discrepancies, and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
• Assist with tax filings and related documentation.
• Track budget versus actual performance and support internal and external audits.
• Identify process‑improvement opportunities and implement best practices.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather and validate financial data.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience.
• Fluency in English and Arabic, both written and verbal.
• Strong problem‑solving, analytical, and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Proactive, detail‑oriented, and solution‑focused mindset.

Required skills

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, SUMIF, Conditional Formatting, Power Query).
• Experience with Oracle Fusion (preferred).
