Vendor Management & Event Coordinator

About the role

NASS AL-Iraq Holding Group, through its Qafia Creative Agency, is hiring a Vendor Management & Event Coordinator in Baghdad. The role manages all vendors and external service providers used by the agency and coordinates the logistics and on-site delivery of its events and projects. It is a full-time position, 9 hours per day, 5 days per week, working on site.

Key responsibilities

• Find, compare and negotiate with vendors, and build and maintain strong vendor relationships.
• Manage the vendor database, including pricing, quality, ratings and qualifications.
• Handle the full vendor process from quotation to delivery and payment, following company finance and payment procedures.
• Coordinate event logistics, setup, staff, equipment, branding and suppliers, and work with clients and internal teams to deliver on plan.
• Attend events on site and manage operations during them, solving problems quickly and handling last-minute changes.
• Prepare weekly and monthly reports on vendors, projects, pricing and issues.
• Identify new vendors and solutions that can improve cost, quality and delivery.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Public Relations, Event Management, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in event coordination, vendor management, procurement or operations.
• Owns a car and can visit vendors and event sites.
• Willingness to travel inside and outside Iraq when required.
• Good English communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours during events.
