Logistics & Warehouse Manager

About the role

OPPEIN Baghdad is looking for an experienced Logistics & Warehouse Manager to run warehouse operations, inventory control, imported shipments, transportation and project deliveries. The manager ensures that kitchens, wardrobes, bathroom units, doors, furniture, accessories, appliances and installation materials are received, stored and delivered accurately, safely and on schedule. Only candidates currently living in Baghdad will be considered.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily warehouse, inventory, logistics and delivery operations.
• Use Odoo to handle receipts, stock transfers, inventory adjustments, purchase records, delivery orders and reports.
• Coordinate imported shipments with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs-clearance agents and transport companies.
• Verify received goods against purchase orders, packing lists and shipping documents, and check that every project order is complete before dispatch.
• Organize inventory by project, product category, item code and delivery schedule, and run regular stock counts.
• Ensure furniture and cabinetry products are safely stored, handled, loaded and transported, and coordinate delivery schedules with sales, design, project management, finance and installation teams.
• Supervise warehouse staff, drivers, helpers and third-party logistics providers.
• Monitor inventory accuracy, delivery performance, damage rates and logistics costs, and prepare weekly and monthly reports.
• Set up warehouse procedures, safety standards and quality-control processes, and improve space utilization and efficiency.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics, warehousing or supply-chain operations.
• At least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory position.
• Previous experience with a recognized furniture, kitchen, cabinetry, interior-design or home-furnishing company is required.
• Good written and spoken English and fluency in Arabic.
• Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply-chain management, business administration or a related field preferred.
• Preferred: immediate availability, familiarity with Baghdad's roads and delivery routes, and experience with project-based deliveries.

Required skills

• Strong practical experience with Odoo (Inventory, Purchase, Sales and Delivery).
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and operational reporting.
• Knowledge of inventory control, warehouse organization, delivery planning and furniture-handling procedures.
