Procurement & Supply Manager

About the role

Kanyat is hiring a full-time, on-site Procurement & Supply Manager for its project in Al-Kadhimiya, Baghdad. The manager oversees end-to-end procurement and supply chain activities, working closely with operations, finance and other internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts and pricing, and source goods and services that meet quality and cost requirements.
• Plan and manage demand, monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment to avoid stockouts or overstock.
• Track purchase orders, analyze supply performance and resolve delivery and quality issues.
• Maintain accurate records and reports.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in procurement, supply chain or operations management, preferably in a multi-project or multi-business environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics or a related field preferred.
• Ability to work on-site in Baghdad, with integrity, accountability and a focus on continuous improvement.

Required skills

• Analytical skills to interpret data and optimize supply decisions.
• Demand planning and supply management skills.
• Proficiency in ERP or inventory management systems and standard office software.
