Supply Chain Manager

About the role

The Supply Chain Manager leads the end‑to‑end supply chain function, ensuring timely, cost‑effective and compliant delivery of goods, equipment and services for exploration, production, refining and distribution operations.

Key responsibilities

• Define and continuously improve the company‑wide supply chain strategy aligned with corporate objectives and budgets.
• Lead, mentor and develop procurement, contracts, warehousing, inventory, logistics and planning teams, setting KPIs and performance standards.
• Oversee sourcing and procurement of drilling, production, refining, mechanical, electrical materials, equipment, spare parts and services.
• Negotiate and administer high‑value contracts and framework agreements with local and international vendors.
• Manage supplier qualification, performance monitoring and relationship management.
• Control inventory levels, implement min/max and reorder‑point strategies, and oversee warehouse operations.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics, freight forwarding, customs clearance and safe transport of hazardous or oversized cargo.
• Drive cost‑reduction initiatives, ensure compliance with anti‑corruption, ethical‑sourcing and HSE standards, and monitor the supply chain budget.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, Logistics or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 12–15 years of progressive supply chain experience, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role, preferably in oil & gas, energy or heavy‑industry.
• Proven track record managing large procurement portfolios, complex contracts and multi‑site logistics.
• Experience in challenging, resource‑constrained or emerging‑market environments.
• Fluency in Arabic and English (written and spoken).

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP and supply chain systems such as SAP and Oracle.
• Strong commercial acumen, negotiation and cost‑management capabilities.
• Expert knowledge of procurement, contracts, inventory and logistics management principles.
