Ramp Agent (Level 3) – Airport Operations

About the role

The Ramp Agent (Level 3) is responsible for transporting baggage and cargo safely across the airport ramp, operating licensed equipment, and supporting flight turnaround operations.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and inspect ground support equipment in accordance with SOPs and airline requirements.
• Load and unload cargo/baggage from ULDs and trolleys as required.
• Support flight operations, including airside bussing and equipment movement for maintenance.
• Report equipment faults, accidents, and incidents promptly to the TAC or supervisor.
• Lead by example, mentor junior team members, and ensure safety standards are met.

Required profile

• Relevant licences and certifications as per dnata Erbil training matrix.
• Previous aviation experience preferred.
• Good spoken and written English (English test level 4, minimum 60%).
• Valid driving licence.
• Ability to work under pressure, manage conflicts and operate in a multicultural team.

Required skills

• Proficient knowledge of airport operations.
• Operation of ground support equipment (e.g., ULD loaders, tugs).
• Safety‑sensitive mindset with ability to conduct STOP observations.
