Specialist Secondary Teacher – British Curriculum (Erbil)

About the role

We are looking for passionate specialist secondary teachers to join our British‑style international school in Erbil. You will deliver high‑quality lessons in your subject area, inspire motivated learners and contribute to a vibrant, multicultural community.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the British curriculum for subjects such as Biology, Business Studies, Chemistry, ICT or Maths.
• Assess student progress, provide feedback and support individual learning needs.
• Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and interdisciplinary projects.
• Participate in extracurricular activities and school events.
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to school reporting requirements.

Required profile

• Relevant degree and recognized teaching qualification.
• Deep knowledge of the specialist subject and ability to teach it to secondary students.
• Experience using modern teaching strategies and educational technology.
• Cultural sensitivity and flexibility to work in an international environment.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
