About the role
The Service Captain will lead the front‑of‑house team at Nana’s Tea Room, ensuring a seamless and welcoming experience for every guest. This role combines operational oversight with hands‑on service to maintain high standards in a busy tea‑room environment.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise daily floor operations and coordinate service flow during each shift.
- Lead, coach and schedule the service team to deliver consistent hospitality standards.
- Manage guest seating, waiting lists and table turnover to optimise customer flow.
- Address and resolve operational issues promptly and professionally.
- Monitor service quality, cleanliness and presentation of the tea‑room.
Required profile
- Previous experience in cafés, restaurants or similar hospitality settings.
- Strong leadership and team‑management abilities.
- Excellent communication and customer‑service skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
- Fluent in Kurdish, Arabic and English.
- Positive attitude with keen attention to detail.
