Service Advisor - Night Shift

About the role

SAS- Toyota Dealer in Baghdad is hiring a Service Advisor for the night shift. The advisor acts as the main point of contact between customers and the service workshop, receiving service requests, documenting vehicle concerns and coordinating repairs so that service is delivered on time and to a high standard.

Key responsibilities

• Receive customers in the service reception area, understand their concerns and record vehicle issues and service requirements.
• Open and manage job cards, document customer requests and vehicle details, and conduct initial vehicle inspections.
• Explain recommended repairs, service packages, estimated costs and timelines in line with dealership policy.
• Coordinate with workshop controllers, technicians, the parts department and quality control teams, and monitor repair progress.
• Follow up on approvals for additional repairs and coordinate parts availability to avoid delays.
• Verify job completion before handover, arrange the final inspection and vehicle delivery, and prepare and explain final invoices.
• Maintain accurate records in the dealership system (Autoline), comply with manufacturer service standards and warranty procedures, and handle complaints professionally.
• Follow up with customers after service, take part in service campaigns and recall programs, and escalate complex issues to the Service Supervisor or Manager.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Service Advisor or in a similar automotive after-sales role.
• Good knowledge of vehicle maintenance, repair processes and automotive systems.
• Strong customer service and communication skills, and good computer skills; experience with DMS/ERP or automotive service systems is preferred.
• English at upper-intermediate level; Arabic with good communication skills preferred. A valid driving licence is preferred.
