Senior Integrity & RBI Engineer – Oil & Gas

About the role

The Senior Integrity & RBI Engineer will lead the Asset Integrity Management System (AIMS) and Risk‑Based Inspection (RBI) programmes for production facilities, pipelines and static equipment at the South Basra Integrated Project. Reporting to the Production Department, the role ensures safe, reliable and cost‑effective operation while minimizing environmental and production risks.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain integrity strategies, risk registers and inspection intervals for all assets.
• Lead RBI studies, produce equipment risk rankings and define mitigation actions.
• Perform Fitness‑for‑Service (FFS) assessments and life‑extension evaluations.
• Prepare annual integrity management plans, KPI reports and asset risk dashboards for senior management.
• Ensure compliance with company HSE policies, regulatory requirements for pressure systems and pipelines, and international best practices.
• Participate in HAZOP, risk assessments and safety reviews related to asset integrity.
• Mentor junior engineers and support competency development within the integrity team.

Required profile

• 12–15 years of solid Oil & Gas experience, preferably in asset integrity or inspection engineering.
• Proven experience leading RBI programmes and managing integrity projects.
• Strong knowledge of HSE standards, regulatory compliance and international best practices.
• Ability to produce technical reports, budgets and present findings to senior management.
