About the role
The Senior Geologist will lead the deployment of water injection wells, offset producers and water source wells, providing geological expertise to optimise injection strategies and enhance reservoir performance.
Key responsibilities
- Identify thief zones, cross‑flow intervals and inter‑well connectivity using geological and production data.
- Support well completion, recompletion, injection profile control and water shut‑off operations.
- Provide geological basis for water injection strategy optimisation, sweep efficiency evaluation and water breakthrough tracing.
- Participate in reservoir and water injection research, delivering geological insights.
Required profile
- More than three years of proven international experience in on‑site water injection management.
- 10–15 years of experience in the oil and gas sector.
Required skills
- Geological analysis of water injection projects.
- Interpretation of production data for reservoir management.
