Senior Employee Service and Rewards Officer

About the role

ZainCash Iraq is seeking a Senior Employee Service and Rewards Officer to manage the full employee lifecycle, support staff inquiries, and ensure compliance with HR policies and local regulations. The role combines operational HR tasks with employee services, attendance management, and tax/social security administration.

Key responsibilities

• Handle all employee lifecycle transactions, including onboarding, transfers, promotions, and off‑boarding.
• Prepare employment contracts, HR letters, and official correspondence.
• Maintain and update employee records in HR systems and personnel files, ensuring accurate data entry.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries on policies, procedures, and benefits.
• Facilitate smooth onboarding and coordinate exit procedures, including clearances and final settlements.
• Monitor attendance records, validate timesheets or biometric data, and process leave applications in line with internal policies and labor law.
• Support payroll by providing accurate absence, leave, and deduction data.
• Prepare periodic HR reports on headcount, turnover, leaves, and other metrics; assist internal and external audits.
• Calculate, review, and reconcile Social Security contributions and tax deductions, and submit monthly tax and Social Security reports to authorities.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in employee services, HR administration, or operations.
• Solid understanding of labor laws and HR policies.
• Experience working with HRIS and document management systems is a plus.
