Sales Team Leader – FinTech Solutions

About the role

The Sales Team Leader will drive market penetration and manage field sales operations for a fintech payment solution across the Dohuk Governorate. You will lead a high‑performing team of sales executives and booth agents, focusing on acquiring new corporate and merchant accounts and expanding the company’s footprint.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and mentor the field sales team and booth agents to meet daily, weekly and monthly acquisition targets.
• Track KPIs using digital reporting tools and conduct regular training sessions on product knowledge and acquisition tactics.
• Plan and optimise daily territory routes to maximise merchant coverage.
• Target key retail segments, commercial centres and service sectors to increase e‑payment adoption.
• Engage high‑value merchants and strategic partners to secure processing agreements.
• Oversee lead pipeline, ensure systematic follow‑ups and manage re‑visits to close contracts.
• Audit field data for accuracy, compile market analysis reports and ensure compliance with central bank regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics or a related field.
• 3–5 years of sales experience, including 1–2 years in a supervisory or team‑lead role, preferably in Telecom, FMCG, Banking or FinTech.
• Fluency in Kurdish (Badini dialect) and Arabic; English is a strong asset.
• Deep knowledge of Dohuk’s commercial geography and business networks.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel extensively across the governorate.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Competence with Microsoft Office suite.
