Sales Engineer – Hydraulic and Instrumentation Tools

About the role

We are seeking a Sales Engineer specialized in hydraulic and instrumentation tools to join our team in Basra. The role involves promoting and selling our solutions to oil and gas customers, building strong client relationships, and collaborating with internal engineering and procurement teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Promote and sell hydraulic and instrumentation products to oil & gas customers and projects within the assigned area.
• Conduct regular customer visits, identify new business opportunities, and follow up on orders, deliveries, and payment collection.
• Prepare market surveys, analyze competitor activity, and support business development initiatives.
• Coordinate with internal teams—including engineering, logistics, and finance—to guarantee customer satisfaction and project success.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities and report progress to management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant sales experience in the oil & gas sector.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Strong technical background combined with effective sales, communication, and prospecting skills.
