Sales Business Development Executive

About the role

Fantasy Land, an entertainment destination in Iraq Mall, is seeking a proactive Sales Business Development Executive to expand its corporate client base, secure group bookings, and build strategic partnerships. The role involves field visits, client relationship management, and coordination with operations to deliver seamless experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, approach, and visit companies, schools, universities and other potential clients to promote entertainment packages, corporate events and team‑building activities.
• Prepare sales proposals, deliver presentations, negotiate commercial terms within approved limits and follow up until agreements are finalized.
• Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective clients, track quotations, contracts and payment arrangements, and coordinate bookings with the operations team.
• Conduct regular field visits across Baghdad, develop a database of leads, and convert them into confirmed business.
• Explore partnerships with travel agencies, shopping malls, hospitality operators and other relevant organisations.
• Prepare weekly reports on client visits, leads, proposals and closed deals, and monitor market trends to recommend sales improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales or related field (preferred).
• 2–4 years of experience in business development, B2B or corporate sales.
• Proven ability to generate leads, conduct client visits, negotiate and close sales.
• Existing relationships with companies, schools or universities in Iraq are a plus.
• Excellent Arabic communication skills; professional English is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Experience using CRM or sales tracking tools.
