Sales Manager – Retail Banking

About the role

Bank of Baghdad is seeking a Sales Manager to lead its Retail Banking sales teams. The role focuses on achieving sales targets, developing strategies, and driving growth across loans, deposits, and card products.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement annual, quarterly, and monthly sales plans aligned with the bank’s strategic objectives.
• Lead and manage sales teams to meet individual, team, and departmental targets, allocating territories and institutions for optimal coverage.
• Monitor KPIs such as customer visits, new acquisitions, financing volumes, deposits, and conversion rates.
• Identify new markets, analyze competitors, and lead promotional campaigns for retail banking products.
• Support branches in customer acquisition and salary domiciliation programs, and ensure high‑quality customer service.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance or related field.
• 5–8 years of retail banking or sales experience, including at least 5 years in a managerial position.
• Proven track record of leading sales teams and achieving targets.
• Strong analytical, strategic planning and leadership abilities.
• Willingness to travel between cities as required.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.
• Experience with sales performance management and KPI tracking.
