Rooms Division Manager – Hospitality

About the role

The Rooms Division Manager will lead the Front Office, Housekeeping and Laundry teams to deliver seamless guest experiences for a leading 4‑star/5‑star hotel in Iraq. You will be responsible for driving revenue, managing budgets and ensuring high standards of service across all guest‑facing areas.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee Front Office, Housekeeping and Laundry operations, ensuring smooth daily workflow.
• Drive room revenue performance while controlling departmental budgets and operational costs.
• Maintain high guest satisfaction, manage VIP guests and resolve escalated service issues.
• Ensure compliance with operational procedures, quality standards and health & safety regulations.
• Lead recruitment, performance management and training initiatives for the Rooms Division.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to optimise operational efficiency and commercial performance.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of management experience within Rooms Division operations in a 4‑star or 5‑star hotel.
• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration or a related field (preferred).
• Strong leadership, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Experience managing budgets, service standards and team performance.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and adapt to varying schedules.
• Open to candidates based outside Iraq; prior experience in Iraq is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency with hotel Property Management Systems (PMS).
• Advanced use of Microsoft Office applications.
