Reporting Engineer

About the role

The Reporting Engineer will support the Iraq Common Seawater Supply Project (CSSP) by gathering, validating and presenting performance data across all project disciplines. Based in Basra, the role ensures transparent reporting, timely dashboards and reliable KPIs for internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and validate progress data from engineering, procurement, construction, HSE and other disciplines.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, executive summaries and visual dashboards.
• Track and report key performance indicators such as physical progress, productivity and forecasted completion dates.
• Monitor HSE performance metrics (LTIs, TRIR, safety observations) and integrate them into reporting tools.
• Maintain consistency and traceability of reporting documentation throughout all project phases.
• Support the Planning & Reporting Manager in preparing presentations for senior management and external partners.
• Oversee the Information Management Assistant function and promote the use of digital collaboration, document management and data‑sharing platforms.
• Act as the focal point between Project Controls, Engineering, Construction, HSE, contractors and company stakeholders to ensure reliable project information.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in project performance reporting and data analysis within large‑scale construction or infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of KPI tracking, progress reporting and HSE metric integration.
• Ability to work closely with multidisciplinary teams and maintain data consistency.
