Regional Operations Manager – South Iraq

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Regional Operations Manager to lead our ride‑hailing business across the southern governorates of Iraq. You will be responsible for delivering operational excellence, expanding the driver network, and meeting commercial targets in multiple cities.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day service delivery and ensure smooth operations across the region.
• Develop and execute strategies to balance supply and demand, reduce wait times and maximise driver utilisation.
• Lead driver acquisition, onboarding and ongoing engagement in collaboration with Customer Care and Hub teams.
• Manage multiple operational hubs, maintaining consistent processes, quality and standards.
• Coach and develop Regional Operations Specialists, Hub Supervisors and Sales Officers.
• Set, monitor and achieve regional KPIs for acquisition, utilisation, retention and performance.
• Analyse operational data, identify trends and drive data‑based improvements.
• Collaborate with Customer Support, Marketing, Product, Finance and HR to ensure seamless operations.
• Prepare regular performance reports for senior management and ensure compliance with local regulations.
• Travel frequently across southern governorates to support teams and monitor performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Logistics, Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in operations management, preferably in ride‑hailing, transportation, logistics or fast‑paced environments.
• Experience managing multi‑site or regional operations.
• Strong leadership, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and interpersonal skills.
• Highly organised with strong time‑management and prioritisation capabilities.
