Regional Commercial Manager

About the role

The Regional Commercial Manager will act as the primary commercial and finance leader for the region, delivering timely reporting, insight and analysis to support strategic decisions. You will partner closely with operations, technical bid teams and clients to ensure commercial excellence across budgeting, pricing and cash management.

Key responsibilities

• Lead annual budgeting, operating plans, cash forecasting and revenue forecasting for the region.
• Develop competitive pricing for proposals in collaboration with operations and technical bid teams.
• Oversee invoicing, tax compliance, internal controls, financial reporting and accounts payable.
• Manage debtor collections, cash flow improvement and aged receivables.
• Maintain bank account oversight, cash management and payroll reconciliation.
• Conduct manpower analysis to align personnel costs with budgets.
• Drive cost management across the supply chain and ensure accurate expense allocation.
• Maintain CRM data integrity and support project set‑up in financial systems.
• Champion purchase order management and approval workflows in Dynamics.
• Build strong client relationships and ensure high‑standard commercial engagement.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of finance, accounting or commercial experience with increasing responsibility.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related field.
• Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Understanding of Iraqi labour law and client security standards.
• Knowledge of UK Bribery regulations is a plus.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office applications, with intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
• Microsoft CRM experience.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics.
