Quantitative Research & Statistics Expert (Consultancy)

About the role

The Sustainable Research and Development Center is looking for a qualified Quantitative Research, Statistics and Sampling Expert to lead the quantitative component of a mixed‑methods study on migration dynamics in Iraq. The assignment involves a large‑scale survey of 1,000‑1,200 respondents in Baghdad and Basra, complemented by qualitative research and stakeholder mapping.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement the sampling methodology for the national survey.
• Prepare fieldwork protocols, supervise data collection, and ensure data quality standards.
• Manage data processing, cleaning, and storage throughout the project.
• Conduct statistical analysis and interpret findings in line with social‑science research standards.
• Collaborate closely with the Team Leader, Field Coordinator, field teams and data processing staff.

Required profile

• Proven expertise in quantitative research, statistics and survey sampling.
• Experience managing large‑scale field surveys in challenging environments.
• Strong understanding of data quality assurance and statistical reporting.
