PML Manager

About the role

The PML Manager will lead Procurement, Materials, and Logistics functions for a manufacturing site in Basra, ensuring that supply chain activities align with business and customer requirements. This role supports strategic sourcing initiatives and collaborates closely with the Category Management team to drive optimal results.

Key responsibilities

• Manage procurement, materials, and logistics processes to meet production schedules and customer deliveries.
• Establish and maintain a reliable supply base, negotiating contracts and monitoring supplier performance.
• Implement strategic sourcing strategies in partnership with the Category Management group.
• Ensure compliance with local laws, internal controls, and company policies.
• Oversee employee performance and drive continuous improvement within the supply chain function.

Required profile

• Undergraduate degree in a technical, business, or related discipline.
• Minimum five years of experience in procurement, materials, or logistics within an industrial setting.
• Preferred graduate degree and certifications such as APICS, CPM, or CPIS.
