Operations Supervisor – Logistics

About the role

The Operations Supervisor will support the transport and distribution unit in Kirkuk, ensuring shipments are collected, delivered and recorded accurately while maintaining vehicles and equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan routes, liaise with external departments and communicate timely updates to ensure shipments meet scheduled times.
• Interact with import/export teams, adjust plans for changes and inform stakeholders.
• Oversee proper loading and unloading, record activities using scanning applications and phones.
• Enter data into the database to keep stock records current and respond to inventory or delivery enquiries.
• Maintain compliance with operational procedures and resolve recurring delivery issues.

Required profile

• Vocational or technical education with less than 2 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to work under moderate supervision and interpret routine problems.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of transport and distribution tools.
• Familiarity with scanning applications and computerized data entry systems.
