About the role
The Nurse Blood Collection is responsible for obtaining blood samples safely and accurately for laboratory investigations. The role ensures proper patient identification, specimen handling, infection control, and patient comfort in line with clinical protocols.
Key responsibilities
- Collect blood samples accurately and safely for laboratory investigations.
- Verify guest identity and confirm requested tests before sample collection.
- Label, handle, store, and transport specimens according to laboratory protocols.
- Maintain aseptic technique and follow infection prevention and control procedures.
- Monitor guests for adverse reactions and manage immediate post‑collection care.
Required profile
- Diploma in Nursing.
- Travel required.
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a relevant position.
