Music Teacher / Art Teacher – International School

About the role

MarQardakh International School is expanding its faculty for the 2026‑2027 academic year and is looking for passionate Music and Art Teachers to join its vibrant community in Erbil. The successful candidates will inspire students through creative instruction and contribute to a multicultural learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging Music or Art lessons in line with the school curriculum.
• Plan, prepare and adapt teaching materials to suit diverse learner needs.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Organise performances, exhibitions or related extracurricular activities.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to enhance interdisciplinary projects.

Required profile

• Excellent command of the English language.
• Relevant teaching experience in Music or Art, or professional experience in the subject area.
• Demonstrated ability to foster a supportive and inclusive classroom.

Required skills

• Music instruction (instrumental/vocal) or Art instruction (visual arts techniques).
• Curriculum development and lesson planning.
• Classroom management.
• Proficiency in English communication.
