Movement Control Supervisor – Logistics Operations

About the role

The Movement Control Supervisor will be based in Iraq supporting the LOGCAP program. Reporting to the Transportation Manager, you will lead a team that coordinates the safe and efficient movement of personnel, equipment, and supplies across multiple transport modes.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise Movement Control Specialists and Seniors, ensuring compliance with all movement control procedures.
• Process Transportation Movement Requests (TMR), Transportation Control and Movement Documents (TCMD) and arrange transportation assets.
• Conduct convoy briefings, manage staging areas, and oversee hazardous material (HAZMAT) documentation.
• Utilize and train staff on the Global Transportation Network (GTN), Integrated Booking System‑Container Management Module (IBS‑CMM), RFID tagging, and TC‑AIMS II systems.
• Maintain communication with shippers, receivers, and movement control agencies, providing status updates to the Movement Control Battalion.
• Account for containers and chassis, ensuring timely return to the transport system.

Required profile

• Proven experience in logistics or transportation operations, preferably in a supervisory capacity.
• HAZMAT certification and ability to train others on hazardous material handling.
• Familiarity with movement control documentation such as TMR and TCMD.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to coordinate multi‑modal transport solutions.
