Mathematics Teacher

About the role

The Mathematics Teacher will deliver SABIS® curriculum to students, ensuring academic success and supporting each learner to reach their full potential. The role involves applying the SABIS® teaching methods and point system within a collaborative school environment.

Key responsibilities

• Teach mathematics classes using provided lesson plans or develop plans based on pacing charts.
• Mark exams and assessments according to departmental schedules.
• Discuss student disciplinary and academic concerns with the Academic Quality Controller and Head of Department.
• Implement the SABIS® Point System to maintain a conducive learning environment.
• Proctor exams, manage test conditions, and provide support to low‑performing students.
• Assist with external exam preparation, substitute for absent teachers, and handle administrative duties such as lunch and bus organization.
• Participate in student life activities and attend training sessions to enhance SABIS® system understanding.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.
• Proficiency in English.
• Minimum of 1 year teaching experience.
• Demonstrated accountability, professional behavior, and ethical conduct.
• Ability to deliver results, continuously learn, and work effectively in a team.
