About the role
The English Teacher will deliver the SABIS® curriculum to students, ensuring academic success and fostering a supportive learning environment.
Key responsibilities
- Teach English classes using provided lesson plans and develop plans when required.
- Mark exams, proctor tests, and manage exam environments.
- Discuss student disciplinary and academic concerns with the Academic Quality Controller and Head of Department.
- Implement the SABIS® Point System to maintain a conducive classroom atmosphere.
- Provide support and motivation to low‑performing students.
- Assist with school duties such as substituting, organizing lunches and buses, and participating in student life activities.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.
- Proficient English language skills.
- Minimum of 1 year teaching experience.
- Professional behavior, accountability, and ethical conduct.
- Ability to work collaboratively, communicate effectively, and adapt to changing priorities.
