Maintenance Manager – Rigid PET Preform Factory

About the role

Almutahida Company is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead all maintenance activities at its rigid PET preform manufacturing plant. The role ensures high machine reliability, minimizes downtime, and supports continuous production.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and execute preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance for PET preform production machines, molds, utilities, and auxiliary equipment.
• Lead mechanical, electrical, and utility maintenance teams, supervising external contractors when needed.
• Analyze recurring breakdowns, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain injection molding machines, dryers, chillers, compressors, cooling systems, conveyors, robots, and related factory equipment.
• Manage spare‑parts inventory, stock availability, and maintenance cost control.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, Warehouse, and Purchasing to ensure smooth operations.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures, lockout/tagout, PPE usage, and company regulations.
• Prepare maintenance reports, downtime analysis, equipment history records, and improvement plans.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or technical qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related engineering.
• 7–10 years of maintenance experience in PET preform, plastic injection molding, packaging, or similar manufacturing environments.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage technicians and maintenance teams.
• Strong problem‑solving, troubleshooting, and root‑cause analysis abilities.
• Effective communication and coordination with production and management teams.
