Labour Relations Team Leader

About the role
UCC Holding is seeking a Labour Relations Team Leader to oversee employee‑relations activities in Iraq. The role focuses on fostering constructive workplace relationships while ensuring strict adherence to local labour legislation. The successful candidate will act as the primary point of contact for employee queries and will coordinate with management to implement fair disciplinary actions.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain positive employee relations across the organization.
- Ensure compliance with Iraqi labour laws, disciplinary procedures and grievance handling processes.
- Lead employee engagement initiatives and support conflict resolution.
Required profile
- Proven experience in labour or employee relations.
- Strong knowledge of labour legislation, disciplinary and grievance procedures, and employee engagement.
- Fluent Arabic (mandatory) and good command of English, both spoken and written.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and conflict‑resolution abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
