Program Manager

About the role

The Program Manager will lead donor‑supported programs for SEED in Erbil, ensuring alignment with the organization’s mission and achieving defined goals. The role involves full cycle program management, coordination with partners, and representation of SEED in various forums.

Key responsibilities

• Design, plan, implement and evaluate program activities, ensuring compliance with SEED policies, donor agreements and local laws.
• Develop and track detailed work plans, budgets, monthly forecasts and expenditure, maintaining audit‑ready documentation.
• Lead monthly program meetings, coordinate with technical, communications, operations and management teams, and work with MEAL to monitor outcomes.
• Supervise and build capacity of program staff through coaching, training and performance appraisals.
• Prepare high‑quality donor reports, contribute to proposals and ensure effective communication with donors, partners and stakeholders.

Required profile

• Degree in social sciences, international relations, gender studies, human rights or related field.
• Minimum 5 years experience managing protection and GBV programs in conflict or post‑conflict settings.
• Strong leadership, management and interpersonal skills, with ability to work under pressure.
• Experience implementing donor‑funded international development or humanitarian programs.
• High standard of spoken and written English; Kurdish is a plus.
