Junior iOS Developer

About the role

1001 is looking for a motivated and talented Junior iOS Developer to join its mobile development team. You will work on exciting projects and help build cutting-edge iOS applications, collaborating with senior developers and cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement new features for iOS applications with senior developers and cross-functional teams.
• Write clean, efficient Swift code and maintain and improve existing codebases.
• Apply TDD principles to write unit tests for new and existing code, aiming for comprehensive test coverage.
• Run unit tests with frameworks such as JUnit and Mockito to validate code and catch issues early.
• Help find and fix bugs so apps stay stable and performant.
• Take part in code reviews, giving and receiving feedback.
• Keep up with the latest iOS development trends, tools and best practices.
• Work with designers and product managers to understand requirements and take part in brainstorming.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• Hands-on experience in iOS development focused on Swift.
• Familiarity with TDD and the ability to write unit tests with frameworks such as XCTest.
• Basic understanding of Xcode.
• Knowledge of version control, preferably Git.
• Strong problem-solving skills, a passion for learning, good communication and teamwork.
