Junior Data Analyst

About the role

As a Junior Data Analyst at Baly, you will turn raw data into actionable insights that support operational and strategic decisions. You will work with data from multiple sources, ensuring accuracy, spotting trends, and helping teams understand the story behind the numbers.

Key responsibilities

• Extract, clean, and analyze data using SQL to answer business questions.
• Identify trends, patterns, and improvement opportunities within datasets.
• Translate findings into clear, actionable insights for decision‑making.
• Validate data anomalies and ensure the reliability of analytical outputs.
• Build and maintain dashboards and reports that monitor key metrics.
• Support the creation of visualizations that communicate insights effectively.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather requirements and present findings to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and a habit of double‑checking work.
• Ability to work independently, ask the right questions, and investigate root causes.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting analytical results.

Required skills

• SQL (including JOINs, aggregations, subqueries).
• Experience with Tableau, Power BI, or other Business Intelligence tools.
