Junior Data Analyst

About the role

As a Junior Data Analyst at Baly you will enable data‑driven decision‑making across the organisation. You will work closely with Operations, Finance, Product, Commercial and other functions to turn complex data sets into actionable insights that improve performance and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze business performance data to identify trends, patterns and improvement opportunities.
• Partner with cross‑functional teams to understand challenges and deliver analytical solutions.
• Translate business requirements into reports, dashboards and performance metrics.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis and provide data‑based recommendations.
• Extract, clean, validate and transform data from multiple sources using SQL.
• Develop and maintain recurring and automated reports, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
• Design and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and self‑service reporting tools.
• Present findings through clear visualisations and executive‑level reports.
• Automate repetitive analytical tasks with Python to improve reporting efficiency.
• Support continuous‑improvement initiatives and help build scalable reporting processes.
• Collaborate with Operations, Finance, Product, Commercial and other departments, communicating insights to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Computer Science or a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in data analysis, business intelligence or a similar analytical role.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem‑solving and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills to present complex information clearly.
