About the role
Weatherford is looking for a recent engineering graduate to join its 4‑year Field Engineer Technical Development Program. You will work on‑site at oil‑ and gas rigs, gaining hands‑on experience with advanced downhole tools and wellsite operations from day one.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare, deploy, and operate advanced downhole tools to meet wellsite objectives.
- Use simulation software to design and optimise solutions tailored to client needs.
- Analyse performance data, recommend improvements and create detailed post‑job reports.
- Manage equipment logistics and ensure safe, efficient set‑up at rig locations.
- Provide front‑line engineering support, resolve issues independently and champion safety and quality.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in any engineering discipline obtained within the last 24 months.
- Maximum of one year of professional experience.
- Fluent English (written and spoken) with strong communication skills.
- Ability to work 12‑hour shifts in challenging weather and remote environments.
- Passion for hands‑on learning and problem solving on‑shore or off‑shore.
