About the role
The leading hospitality group in Iraq is seeking an experienced Executive Chef to lead its culinary operations. You will be responsible for creating exceptional dining experiences while maintaining high standards of quality, consistency, and safety.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and continuously update menus, standardize recipes, and ensure consistent presentation.
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, optimizing workflow and efficiency.
- Lead, train, and motivate a diverse kitchen team.
- Manage food and labour costs, control budgets, order supplies, and minimise waste.
- Ensure strict compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations.
Required profile
- Minimum 10 years of culinary experience.
- 3‑5 years as an Executive Chef or Head Chef in an international or fine‑dining environment.
- Extensive background in international cuisine.
- Strong leadership, team‑management, and time‑management abilities.
- In‑depth knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
