Electrician Supervisor

About the role

The Electrical Supervisor will be stationed at one of Amentum's sites in Iraq, supporting the Operations and Maintenance Support Services (OMSS) contract for the U.S. Department of State. This role owns all facility electrical projects, from maintenance and troubleshooting to installation and modernization.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a safe workplace and ensure compliance with Environmental Health & Safety and Quality Assurance standards.
• Repair, maintain, install, and modernize electrical systems for building equipment.
• Diagnose electrical malfunctions using test equipment and perform corrective actions such as replacing components, wiring, or motors.
• Test electrical equipment (motors, heaters, controls) for safety and efficiency.
• Install fixtures, conduits, motors, and other electrical hardware.
• Inspect circuits for proper shielding and grounding.
• Report non‑compliance or malfunctions to the Assistant O&M Manager and prepare written inspection reports.
• Manage tools, equipment, spare parts, and material ordering for the electrical operation.
• Perform administrative tasks including inventory control, work scheduling, and report preparation.

Required profile

• Minimum two (2) years as a Master Electrician or ten (10) years as a Journeyman Electrician, with a valid Master Electrician license.
• At least five (5) years of electrical operations and maintenance experience.
• Three (3) years of experience working in an OCONUS environment.
• Proven ability to read and interpret SOW, electrical diagrams, and blueprints.
